One of the most popular pools in all of Walt Disney World will be unavailable for five months, but guests are getting more than advance notice.
The Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck pools at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts will be undergoing routine maintenance. They will be closed from January 2025 through May 2025, but there are no exact dates of closure or reopening as of yet.
Guests staying at these resorts are being advised that they may hear or see construction during working daytime hours.
During the closures of these two pools, guests will be directed to the Admiral, Dunse Cove, and Tidal leisure pools.
Please note that dates are subject to change and can without any notice. These dates are officially listed on Walt Disney World’s refurbishment schedule, but that does not mean they can’t possibly change.
