The first day of summer may not be for a few weeks yet (June 21), but Walt Disney World’s “Incredible Summer” kicked off with a bang over Memorial Day weekend. Disney’s Animal Kingdom brought forth a lot of great fun and here are all the additional fun things you can enjoy at the park this summer.
The Memorial Day weekend kicked off with a bash…Donald’s Dino-Bash that is, and it is incredibly awesome. Guests can head to Dinoland U.S.A. to experience some new and rare meet-and-greets that they wouldn’t normally be able to enjoy.
Here are all the meet-and-greets spread around:
- Scrooge McDuck – Next to Restaurantosaurus
- Launchpad McQuack – Next to Restaurantosaurus
- Daisy Duck – Near entrance to DINOSAUR
- Chip and Dale as Chipmunk-O-Saurus – Near entrance to DINOSAUR
- Donald Duck, Goofy, and Pluto – Located around the prehistoric games
Check out pics of all the meet-and-greets at this link for Donald’s Dino-Bash. Always check the Times Guide, but character greets for the Dino-Bash are set to begin daily at 10 a.m.
Don’t forget that just last month, UP! A great Bird Adventure began at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and it is a fantastic show for the whole family. Russell and Dug will introduce you to different bird species from around the world and have a great time doing it too.
As of this time, there is no end date for either of these great events…so, they won’t come to a conclusion when the “Incredible Summer” at Walt Disney World is over.
