The “Incredible Summer” of Walt Disney World has already started and all four theme parks have great things happening over the next few months, but Disney’s Hollywood Studios is bringing the big toy fisticuffs…Toy Story Land is opening on June 30, 2018.
All three of the other parks at Walt Disney World have a lot of unique and limited-time offerings happening for the Incredible Summer, but not Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Don’t be disappointed, though, as a brand new land is set to open in just about a month.
This new 11-acre land will shrink guests to the size of a toy and allow them to explore the fun and adventure of Andy’s backyard. There, guests can experience two new attractions: the family coaster Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers. Toy Story Land also will feature an existing guest-favorite attraction, Toy Story Mania!, which will expand to add a third track into the rotation. The land’s Woody’s Lunch Box will be a new quick-service restaurant that will offer up tasty meals and old-fashioned soda floats to Toy Story Land guests.
Be prepared for long lines but an incredible amount of fun as this is one thing that will make this summer (and many years to come) very awesome.
