Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa had already reported that some offerings such restaurants and other locations were temporarily closed. Well, things are being taken a step further due to the threat of CODIV-19 and the whole resort will temporarily close as of Tuesday, March 24, 2020.
Beginning at 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, the Aulani Resort is going to be closed through Tuesday, March 31, 2020. Guests have the next few days to make the necessary travel arrangements to get home or to book alternative accommodations.
Reservations book during that time period can be rescheduled by contacting The Walt Disney Travel Company or your travel agent.
Disney is waiving all Disney-imposed change and cancellation fees up to the date of check-in for reservations that are impacted, as well as those rescheduled reservations with arrivals through June 30, 2020.
As of 5:00 P.M. on March 24, 2020, any room-only reservations booked for Aulani directly through Disney for arrivals March 24-31 will be auto-cancelled. Refunds will be processed and returned back to the original form of payment.
