Disneyland Paris first closed its doors back on March 15, 2020, due to COVID-19, and it was said that the closure would continue through the end of the month. Due to additional ordinances and lockdowns, the closure has been extended at least through April 15, 2020.

There is still no official word from Disney regarding the closure, but they will have no choice but to remain shuttered through the middle of April.

The official website for the Tokyo Disney Resort has confirmed that they will remain closed through April 19, 2020, with a tentative reopening date of April 20, 2020. This extension has also been done due to government orders requiring events not to be held due to the coronavirus.

This closure includes Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo Disney Sea, and the four resort hotels. The hotels are set to close on April 1, 2020.

Policy changes have been put in place as those with resort hotel reservations for the dates of April 1-19 will have them automatically canceled and refunded. Those guests with reservations from April 20 – May 31 can cancel, if they wish, with no penalty.
