The coronavirus pandemic continues to have a major effect around the world, and that includes at the theme parks. Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood have no announced that their temporary closures have been extended through the end of May 2020.
Originally, the parks were closed through the end of March, and it was then extended through mid-April. Now, both Universal Studios locations in the United States have extended those closures through all of May.
The announcements were made on Thursday afternoon, and the situation will continue to be monitored which could lead to adjustments as needed.
