When the theme parks of Walt Disney World reopen, not all dining locations are going to be opening. One that will open up is Garden Grill at Epcot on July 15, 2020, and it will be a character dining experience, but a modified one.
With the new health restrictions in place, most character experiences are simply not happening until further notice. Garden Grill is reopening, though, and it will be a modified version of character dining.
Exact details on how the modified experience will work have not yet been given, but it is expected to be like Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort. At the only other character dining experience reopening right now, characters take pictures from a distance, dance around, and appear at each table.
