Beginning on Friday, June 18, 2021, fully vaccinated Cast Members no longer have to wear masks outdoors at Walt Disney World.
On June 15, 2021, Walt Disney World made masks / face coverings optional for fully vaccinated guests in most locations – indoor and outdoor. They are still required by all guests on transportation such as buses, monorails, and the Disney Skyliner.
Earlier this week, Walt Disney World dropped the face shield requirement for Cast Members. On Friday, fully vaccinated Cast Members won’t have to wear masks outdoors, but all must still wear them indoors until further notice.
