Due to the temporary closures of the Walt Disney World Resort, the current College Program ended early, but more dominos have fallen. The Disney Internships & Cultural Representative Programs have all been suspended with the fall College Program having been put on hold.
The official announcement was made on the Disney Programs account on Twitter on Monday morning.
Effective April 18, 2020, the Disney Internships & Programs are being temporarily suspended. This is being done at this time to help Cultural Representative Program participants have enough time to get home, and payment will continue through that date with housing deductions being waived immediately.
For those who were supposed to arrive in June for the next Walt Disney World College Program, it has also been put on hold as of this time.
Disney is amending eligibility requirements which will allow those who have already been accepted to reapply when the time comes. That is even for those who have already graduated.
